Below are a few brief words and photographs of the work of our newest members.
John Moore: My work is strongly influenced by international historical designs as well as contemporary original creations. Each piece is handcrafted from the finest of natural materials.
Engraved Silver Drop Earrings
Kathy Litchfield: I love sharing my joy through weaving. I draw inspiration from nature and the magical world around us to design and create beautiful, functional scarves, shawls and home goods that enhance one’s home or lifestyle. Specialties are my original “Story Scarves” and “Story Shawls” that share tales and life experiences woven into fabric with vibrant colors and rich textures.
Kate Spencer: I bring big skies and Western color schemes to my oil paintings. Unromantic in my compositions, I delight in juxtaposing the wild elements of nature and the objects of civilization. My paintings are at once real and dreamy, rendered by a loose brush and a keen observation of how the spirit of the land intersects with the material world. New England and Montana landscapes are predominant in my work.
