Visit what just might be the friendliest gallery around and see the complete works in our spring show, “From Darkness into Light,” showing through May 30.
A reception will be held Saturday, April 2, 1-4 p.m. with artists: Lana Fiala, Patricia Czepiel Hayes, Sharon Loehr-Lapan, Chris Pellerin, and Jaye Pope. They’ll be happy to share insights about their work and of course, refreshments.
Especially for “From Darkness into Light,” member potter Jaye Pope is creating lanterns from stoneware and porcelain. These lanterns are designed to bring the warm glow of candle light to your relaxing summer evenings. Pictured here are lanterns in their first stage firing of “bisque.” Glazes will be applied and the work will be fired again in Jaye’s electric kiln located in her studio in Brattleboro, Vermont. Come on by and see the transformation of the finished work and all the other beautiful works of art at the gallery!
