Rachel Beaupré
Designer, fiber artist, and sewing instructor Rachel Beaupré started Wee Things Fiber Arts in her Montague Center studio in 2014. A lifelong maker, Rachel is trained in both art history and studio art and spent her early career in the art museum and gallery field. Today, Rachel shares her passion for handwork with crafters of all ages through her workshops, instructional sewing kits, and fiber art treasures.
Utilizing a variety of techniques from embroidery to needle felting, all of Rachel’s creations reflect her deep love of textiles and the natural environment. Her soft sculptures and toys are inspired by Waldorf handwork traditions and feature 100% natural materials. An eco-conscious maker, Rachel often incorporates upcycled fibers and dyes her own wool felt from materials she has grown, gathered, or thoughtfully sourced.
Rachel’s sewing patterns have been featured in Taproot Magazine and are available in digital form, as well as in small batch DIY sewing kits. She designs and produces all aspects of her kits, creating carefully curated projects inside each box. Bringing together the joy of making and the magic of play, Wee Things sewing kits inspire crafters young and old.
